Max Anderson (Max Arthur Anderson) was born on June 6, 1945 in Stockton, California. After going to high school at Mary A. Brown (Smithville, TX), Anderson attended Arizona State University and Trinity Valley Community College. Anderson made his professional debut in the AFL in 1968 with the Buffalo Bills. He played for the Buffalo Bills for his entire 2 year career.
Most people believe that 1968 was Max Anderson's best year, as he ran for 525 yards, had 971 kick return yards and ran back a kickoff for a touchdown.
