Max Alvis

Max Alvis (Roy Maxwell Alvis) was born on February 2, 1938 in Jasper, Texas. He made his Major League debut on September 11, 1962 for the Cleveland Indians. In 1963, his rookie year, he hit .274 with 22 home runs and 67 RBI. Alvis played for the Cleveland Indians and Milwaukee Brewers over the course of his 9 year career.
Most people believe that Max Alvis's best season was 1963, when he slugged 22 home runs and knocked in 67 runs.
