Maury Patt (Maurice Howard Patt) was born on January 31, 1914 in Altoona, Pennsylvania. Patt attended Carnegie Mellon Univeristy. Patt made his professional debut in the NFL in 1938 with the Detroit Lions. He played for the Cleveland Rams and Detroit Lions over the course of his 5 year career.

Most people believe that 1941 was Maury Patt's best year.
