Maurice Tyler (Maurice Michael Tyler) was born on July 19, 1950 in Baltimore, Maryland. After going to high school at Mergenthaler Vocational Technical (Baltimore, MD), Tyler attended Baltimore CC and Morgan State University. Tyler made his professional debut in the NFL in 1972 with the Buffalo Bills. He played for the Denver Broncos, New York Giants, New York Jets, San Diego Chargers, Buffalo Bills and Detroit Lions over the course of his 7 year career.
