Maurice Archdeacon (Maurice John Archdeacon) was born on December 14, 1897 in St. Louis, Missouri. He made his Major League debut on September 17, 1923 for the Chicago White Sox. In 1924, his rookie year, he hit .319 with 0 home runs and 25 RBI. Archdeacon played for the Chicago White Sox for his entire 3 year career.
