Maurey Bray (Andrew Maurice Bray) was born on August 27, 1909 in Paducah, Texas. After going to high school at Abilene (TX), Bray attended Southern Methodist University. Bray made his professional debut in the NFL in 1935 with the Pittsburgh Pirates. He played for the Pittsburgh Pirates for his entire 2 year career.
