Matty McIntyre

Matty McIntyre (Matthew Martin McIntyre) was born on June 12, 1880 in Stonington, Connecticut. He made his Major League debut on July 3, 1901 for the Philadelphia Athletics. In 1901, his rookie year, he hit .276 with 0 home runs and 46 RBI. McIntyre played for the Philadelphia Athletics, Detroit Tigers and Chicago White Sox over the course of his 10 year career.
Most people believe that Matty McIntyre's best season was 1911, when he hit for a .323 average and knocked in 52 runs.
