Matt Willig (Matthew Joseph Willig) was born on January 21, 1969 in La Mirada, California. After going to high school at St. Paul (Santa Fe Springs, CA), Willig attended the University of Southern California. Willig made his professional debut in the NFL in 1993 with the New York Jets. He played for the San Francisco 49ers, New York Jets, Carolina Panthers, Atlanta Falcons, St. Louis Rams and Green Bay Packers over the course of his 12 year career.
