Born on April 4, 1972 in Cedar Falls, Iowa, Matt Wagner (Matthew William Wagner) played for the Seattle Mariners for his entire 1 year career. Wagner broke into the bigs on June 5, 1996 with the Seattle Mariners, and put up a 6.86 ERA in 80 innings pitched in 1996, his rookie year.
