Born on February 18, 1967 in Lexington, Kentucky, Matt Turner (William Matthew Turner) played for the Florida Marlins and Cleveland Indians over the course of his 2 year career. Turner broke into the bigs on April 23, 1993 with the Florida Marlins, and put up a 2.91 ERA in 68 innings pitched in 1993, his rookie year.
