Matt Thornton

Born on September 15, 1976 in Three Rivers, Michigan, Matt Thornton (Matthew J. Thornton) played for the Seattle Mariners and Chicago White Sox over the course of his 3 year career. Thornton broke into the bigs on June 27, 2004 with the Seattle Mariners, and put up a 5.21 ERA in 57 innings pitched in 2005, his rookie year.
