Born on June 8, 1975 in Burlington, Iowa, Matt Perisho (Matthew Alan Perisho) played for the Anaheim Angels, Texas Rangers, Detroit Tigers, Florida Marlins and Boston Red Sox over the course of his 8 year career. Perisho broke into the bigs on May 27, 1997 with the Anaheim Angels, and put up a 7.37 ERA in 105 innings pitched in 2000, his rookie year.
