[edit] BiographyAcquired: Selected by B.C. in the second round (12th overall) in the 2006 Ottawa Dispersal Draft. 2006: Appeared in all 18 regular season games as well as the West Championship and Grey Cup. Recorded five defensive tackles and one forced fumble. 2005: Kirk dressed for all 18 games in his rookie CFL season with Ottawa. He made three defensive tackles. College: 2004: Named 1st Team OUA All-Star on defensive line. 2003: Named 1st Team OUA All-Star at defensive tackle. Earned 2nd Team All-Canadian honours. Won the JP Metras award as the OUA Lineman of the Year. 2002: Started every game at defensive end. On Sept. 7 (at Ottawa) had one sack for 6 yards. In playoff action against Western (Nov. 2), he had eight solo tackles. Recorded Queens' only sack (5 yards) of the Yates Cup game. 2001: Started every game at defensive end and tallied 2 QB sacks on the season. Personal: LaSalle SS, Won 4 high school football championships--2 with the junior team, and 2 with the seniors. He also played hockey, rugby and track & field.
