Matt Birk (Matthew Robert Birk) was born on July 23, 1976 in St. Paul, Minnesota. After going to high school at Cretin-Derham Hall (St. Paul, MN), Birk attended Harvard University. Birk made his professional debut in the NFL in 1998 with the Minnesota Vikings. He has played for the Minnesota Vikings for his entire 8 year career.
