Masato Yoshii

Born on April 20, 1965 in Osaka, Japan, Masato Yoshii (Masato Yoshii) played for the New York Mets, Colorado Rockies and Montreal Expos over the course of his 5 year career. Yoshii broke into the bigs on April 5, 1998 with the New York Mets, and put up a 3.93 ERA in 171.2 innings pitched in 1998, his rookie year.
Most people believe that Masato Yoshii's best season was 1999, when he posted a 4.40 ERA, won 12 games and struck out 105 batters.
