Acquired:
Selected by Hamilton in the second round (14th overall) of the 2004 CFL Canadian College Draft.
2006:
Started 17 games at center during his third season with the Tiger-Cats, missing their 20-18 victory at Edmonton on September 22nd when he was on the four-man reserve.
2005:
Started all 18 games for the Ticats. Started the season at guard and moved to the center position.
2004:
Played in three games during the regular season with the Tiger-Cats after Hamilton selected him in the second round (14th overall) of the 2004 CFL Canadian College Draft...had one special teams tackle.
Personal:
Born September 14th, 1981 in Beirut, Lebanon...his older brother Rudy a defensive end at Concordia University was selected by Montreal in the fourth round (34th overall) of the 2004 CFL Canadian College draft...another older brother (Elias) played football at East Texas State...his mother Hayat, was a member of the Lebanese National Volleyball Team...the Hage family moved to Montreal from his native Beirut, Lebanon, in 1990, fleeing a war-torn neighborhood to a Canadian city that had a sizeable Lebanese community...attended Vanier Prep for one semester (fall 1999), and played high school football at Sun Youth High, as his own high school, Mont de La Salle, did not have a team...earned SuperPrep All-Far West honors, as the publication groups the country into its West review, and was ranked as the No. 3 player in Canada...as a senior, he earned first-team Team Canada, Team Quebec and Quebec all-star honors...he earned first-team Team Canada and Team Quebec accolades, and was the youngest member on the Team Quebec squad as a junior...was a four-time most valuable player in the Quebec All-Star game...played offensive guard his last three years as a prep...Vanier was 7-2-1 in 1999, while Sun Youth posted records of 3-7 (his 11th grade year) and 8-2 (10th grade).
