It is not common knowledge that Marvin Cobb was one of the first, if not the first black place kick holder in the NFL, holding for Chris Bahr on the Cincinnati Bengals in the mid 70's. And while Joe Namath certainly had an illustrious career in New York, the last game Joe played for the Jets before he went to the LA Rams, he threw 4 interceptions against the Bengals, and Marvin was on the receiving end of the last interception that Joe Namath threw as a Jet.
