Marv Upshaw (Marvin Allen Upshaw) was born on November 22, 1946 in Robstown, Texas. After going to high school at Robstown (TX), Upshaw attended Trinity University. Upshaw made his professional debut in the NFL in 1968 with the Cleveland Browns. He played for the Kansas City Chiefs, Cleveland Browns and St. Louis Cardinals over the course of his 10 year career.

Most people believe that 1974 was Marv Upshaw's best year, as he ran back an interception for a touchdown.
