Marv Smith (Marvin McCammon Smith) was born on April 15, 1898 in Canton, Ohio. After going to high school at McKinley (Canton, OH), Smith attended Purdue University. Smith made his professional debut in the APFA in 1921 with the Canton Bulldogs. He played for the Canton Bulldogs for his entire 1 year career.
