Marv Rickert

Marv Rickert (Marvin August Rickert) was born on January 8, 1921 in Longbranch, Washington. He made his Major League debut on September 10, 1942 for the Chicago Cubs. In 1946, his rookie year, he hit .263 with 7 home runs and 47 RBI. Rickert played for the Chicago Cubs, Boston Braves, Pittsburgh Pirates and Chicago White Sox over the course of his 6 year career.
