Marv Mattox (Marvin Bruce Mattox) was born on February 11, 1900 in Leesville, Virginia. Mattox attended Washington and Lee University. Mattox made his professional debut in the NFL in 1923 with the Milwaukee Badgers. He played for the Milwaukee Badgers for his entire 1 year career.
