Marv Hubbard (Marvin Ronald Hubbard) was born on May 7, 1956 in Salamanca, New York. After going to high school at Central (Randolph, NY), Hubbard attended Colgate University. Hubbard made his professional debut in the AFL in 1969 with the Oakland Raiders. He played in the AFL for 1 year, playing for the Oakland Raiders the entire time. Hubbard also played in the NFL for 7 years, playing for the Oakland Raiders and Detroit Lions over the course of his 7 year NFL career.
Most people believe that 1972 was Marv Hubbard's best year, as he ran for 1100 yards, ran in 4 TDs and ran for an average of 5 yards per carry.
