Marv Cook (Marvin Eugene Cook) was born on February 24, 1966 in Iowa City, Iowa. After going to high school at West Branch (IA), Cook attended the University of Iowa. Cook made his professional debut in the NFL in 1989 with the New England Patriots. He played for the New England Patriots, St. Louis Rams and Chicago Bears over the course of his 7 year career.
Most people believe that 1991 was Marv Cook's best year, as he hauled in 82 receptions and had 808 receiving yards.
