Marv Blaylock (Marvin Edward Blaylock) was born on September 30, 1929 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He made his Major League debut on September 26, 1950 for the Philadelphia Phillies. In 1955, his rookie year, he hit .208 with 3 home runs and 24 RBI. Blaylock played for the Philadelphia Phillies for his entire 3 year career.
