Marv Berschet (Marvin Walter Berschet) was born on December 28, 1929 in Arlington Heights, Illinois. After going to high school at Arlington Heights (IL), Berschet attended the University of Illinois. Berschet made his professional debut in the NFL in 1954 with the Washington Redskins. He played for the Washington Redskins for his entire 2 year career.

Most people believe that 1954 was Marv Berschet's best year.
