Marty Thompson (Glenn Martin Thompson) was born on December 9, 1969 in Whittier, Louisiana. After going to high school at Mammoth Lakes (CA), Thompson attended California State University, Fresno. Thompson made his professional debut in the NFL in 1993 with the Detroit Lions. He played for the Detroit Lions for his entire 1 year career.
