Marty Kutyna

Born on November 14, 1932 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Marty Kutyna (Marion John Kutyna) played for the Kansas City Athletics and Washington Senators over the course of his 4 year career. Kutyna broke into the bigs on September 19, 1959 with the Kansas City Athletics, and put up a 3.94 ERA in 61.2 innings pitched in 1960, his rookie year.
Most people believe that Marty Kutyna's best season was 1961, when he posted a 3.97 ERA and struck out 64 batters.
