Marty Krug (Martin John Krug) was born on September 10, 1888 in Koblenz, Germany. He made his Major League debut on May 29, 1912 for the Boston Red Sox. In 1922, his rookie year, he hit .276 with 4 home runs and 60 RBI. Krug played for the Boston Red Sox and Chicago Cubs over the course of his 2 year career.
