Chick Autry (Martin Gordon Autry) was born on March 5, 1903 in Martindale, Texas. He made his Major League debut on April 20, 1924 for the New York Yankees. Autry played for the New York Yankees, Cleveland Indians and Chicago White Sox over the course of his 6 year career.
