Marshall Jones (Marshall Durell Jones) was born on December 10, 1894 in Fargo, North Dakota. After going to high school at Culver Military Academy (IN), Jones attended the University of North Dakota. Jones made his professional debut in the APFA in 1920 with the Hammond Pros. He played for the Akron Pros and Hammond Pros over the course of his 2 year career.
