Marquis Smith (Marquis Trinnell Smith) was born on January 13, 1975 in San Diego, California. After going to high school at Patrick Henry (San Diego, CA), Smith attended Univeristy of California. Smith made his professional debut in the NFL in 1999 with the Cleveland Browns. He played for the Cleveland Browns for his entire 3 year career.
