Marquez Pope

Marquez Pope (Marquez Phillips Pope) was born on October 29, 1970 in Nashville, Tennessee. After going to high school at Polytechnic (Long Beach, CA), Pope attended California State University, Fresno. Pope made his professional debut in the NFL in 1992 with the San Diego Chargers. He played for the San Francisco 49ers, Oakland Raiders, San Diego Chargers, Los Angeles Rams and Cleveland Browns over the course of his 10 year career.
Most people believe that 1996 was Marquez Pope's best year, as he picked off 6 passes and ran back an interception for a touchdown.
