Marlon King
[edit] BiographyFans favourite and 2005-2006 top scorer, Marlon missed much of the following Premiership season after picking up a knee injury after the game at the Emirates Stadium in October. On his return to the side he showed no signs of long-term effects as he netted 3 league goals in under 10 games as the Hornets mounted a too-little-too-late attempt to climb out of the relegation mire. He returns to the starting line-up in 2007/2008 as first choice striker and opened his account with two penalties in the first three games, Hornets fans will be hoping there's plenty more to come from King this season, particularly with the added boost of Nathan Ellington signing to take some of the pressure and expectation off of him.
