Mark Van Eeghen (Mark van Eeghen) was born on April 19, 1952 in Cambridge, Massachusetts. After going to high school at West (Cranston, RI), Van Eeghen attended Colgate University. Van Eeghen made his professional debut in the NFL in 1974 with the Oakland Raiders. He played for the Oakland Raiders and New England Patriots over the course of his 10 year career.
Most people believe that 1978 was Mark Van Eeghen's best year, as he ran for 1080 yards, ran in 9 TDs and ran back a fumble for a touchdown.
