Mark Smith (Mark Anthony Smith) was born on August 28, 1974 in Vicksburg, Mississippi. After going to high school at Vicksburg (MS), Smith attended Auburn University, Hinds Community College and Navarro Junior College. Smith made his professional debut in the NFL in 1997 with the Arizona Cardinals. He played for the Arizona Cardinals and Cleveland Browns over the course of his 6 year career.

Most people believe that 1998 was Mark Smith's best year, as he recorded 9 sacks.
