Mark Rypien (Mark Robert Rypien) was born on October 2, 1962 in Calgary, Alb.. After going to high school at Shadle Park (Spokane, WA), Rypien attended Washington State Universtiy. Rypien made his professional debut in the NFL in 1988 with the Washington Redskins. He played for the Washington Redskins, St. Louis Rams, Indianapolis Colts, Philadelphia Eagles and Cleveland Browns over the course of his 11 year career.
Most people believe that 1991 was Mark Rypien's best year, as he threw for 3564 yards, tossed 28 TDs and put up a 97.9 passer rating.
