Born on August 8, 1954 in Galveston, Texas, Mark Ross (Mark Joseph Ross) played for the Houston Astros, Pittsburgh Pirates and Toronto Blue Jays over the course of his 6 year career. Ross broke into the bigs on September 12, 1982 with the Houston Astros.
