Mark Nelson (Mark David Nelson) was born on June 22, 1964 in Grand Forks, North Dakota. After going to high school at Thomas Jefferson (Bloomington, MN), Nelson attended Bowling Green State University, Iowa State University and Normandale Community College. Nelson made his professional debut in the NFL in 1987 with the Kansas City Chiefs. He played for the Kansas City Chiefs for his entire 1 year career.
