Mark Johnston (Mark Ronald Johnston) was born on March 4, 1938 in Sycamore, Illinois. After going to high school at Sycamore (IL), Johnston attended Northwestern University. Johnston made his professional debut in the AFL in 1960 with the Houston Oilers. He played for the Houston Oilers and Oakland Raiders over the course of his 5 year career.
Most people believe that 1960 was Mark Johnston's best year, as he picked off 4 passes.
