Mark Cooney (Mark Joseph Cooney) was born on June 2, 1951 in Denver, Colorado. After going to high school at St. Anthony (San Antonio, TX), Cooney attended the University of Colorado. Cooney made his professional debut in the NFL in 1974 with the Green Bay Packers. He played for the Green Bay Packers for his entire 1 year career.
