Mark Carreon (Mark Steven Carreon) was born on July 19, 1963 in Chicago, Illinois. He made his Major League debut on September 8, 1987 for the New York Mets. In 1989, his rookie year, he hit .308 with 6 home runs and 16 RBI. Carreon played for the New York Mets, Detroit Tigers, San Francisco Giants and Cleveland Indians over the course of his 10 year career.

Most people believe that Mark Carreon's best season was 1996, when he hit for a .281 average and knocked in 65 runs.

Mike Carreon was one of many baseball players included in the Mitchell Report. Kirk Radomski claimed Carreon sold Dianabol pills to Carreon in 1996, but was unable to produce evidence of any transactions. Carreon did not respond to requests for interview.
