Marcus Jones (Marcus Edward Jones) was born on August 15, 1973 in Jacksonville, North Carolina. After going to high school at Southwest Onslow (Jacksonville, NC), Jones attended the University of North Carolina. Jones made his professional debut in the NFL in 1996 with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for his entire 6 year career.
Most people believe that 2000 was Marcus Jones's best year, as he recorded 13 sacks.
