Marc Newfield (Marc Alexander Newfield) was born on October 19, 1972 in Sacramento, California. He made his Major League debut on July 6, 1993 for the Seattle Mariners. In 1995, his rookie year, he hit .236 with 4 home runs and 21 RBI. Newfield played for the Seattle Mariners, San Diego Padres and Milwaukee Brewers over the course of his 6 year career.

Most people believe that Marc Newfield's best season was 1996, when he hit for a .278 average and knocked in 57 runs.
