Marc Crawford takes over as Los Angeles Kings head coach.

Marc Crawford is hired as the first coach in Kings history to have a Stanley Cup Championship on his resume. Could this be a turn-around for the Kings, who have been over-shadowed by the Ducks since the Ducks became a franchise a dozen years ago.

Also didn't hurt that the Kings weren't very good; even for the "everybody makes the playoffs" NHL. Crawford is a good pickup. Hopefully for him this will be long-term and he won't become the new Mike Keenan.
