I'm gonna start the simplest fantasy football league to see who the best draft analysts are in ArmchairGM.com.
The rules are simple:
- You creatively name your team
- You draft a team
That's it! No roster changes, no lineup adjustments. Anyone who makes a roster change after draft day will forfeit their season. Just draft your team and LIVE WITH IT/DIE WITH IT. Over the season, byes even out, injuries hurt and you don't really care if your team does bad... plus there's no agonizing over rosters or advantage to people who have extra free time to scan waiver wires. Hands free season! Some skill, some luck/non-bad luck
then you sit back and watch your sleepers emerge...
The idea is... I'm not allowed (wifey rules all!) to have a fantasy football team because of last year's fiasco* that I won't get into (obviously, it involved me talking much isht). But drafting a team is my favorite part! It's like opening Christmas gifts.
Then you ride the season out and kick back. No worry about how much trash the league is talking on you, because no one else cares either. Winner of the league does win a GIANT Gets to talk trash FOR FREE on anyone (for a while) card
We can do it in yahoo, whatever is easy enough; I want a deep draft so I'd like to get 12 if possible = add a creative team name in comments and I'll add the league info in comments later...
So there you have it. Simplest league ever, or most involved football-related raffle ever.
