Manny Sistrunk (Manuel Sistrunk) was born on June 16, 1947 in Montgomery, Alabama. After going to high school at Booker T. Washington (Montgomery, AL), Sistrunk attended the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff. Sistrunk made his professional debut in the NFL in 1970 with the Washington Redskins. He played for the Washington Redskins and Philadelphia Eagles over the course of his 10 year career.

Most people believe that 1971 was Manny Sistrunk's best year.
