Born on May 7, 1961 in La Romana, La Romana (Dominican Republic), Manny Hernandez (Manuel Antonio (Montas) Hernandez) played for the Houston Astros and New York Mets over the course of his 3 year career. Hernandez broke into the bigs on June 5, 1986 with the Houston Astros.
