Madden Curse Strikes Again - Alexander Out.

CBS Sportline is reporting, along with many other sources, that Seattle RB Shaun Alexander has a small fracture in his foot and will be out infdefinitly. He will miss the week 4 matchup against Chicago. Maurice Morris will get the start against a tough Bear defense. The Hawks than have a a bye in week 5 and it is unknown if the MVP will be back for week 6.

It looks like the Madden Curse has struck again. Now conspiracy theorists are waiting on the Chunky Soup Curse to hit Matt Hasselbeck and for the SB Loser Curse to take effect on a team (Seattle again) that is currently 3-0.

Part of me feels that this won't kill Seattle's season necessarily...they have a proven backup in Morris and they seem to be confident in their passing game this year. Albeit it was against New York, but they seemed to like using that 4WR set.

it's even scarier that guys get hurt playing FOOTBALL!!! Maybe they should try putting a punter on there next year... Until players start dying from the "curse", it's merely highly probable bunk.
