Mack Alston (Mack Alston, Jr.) was born on April 27, 1947 in Georgetown, South Carolina. After going to high school at Howard (Georgetown, SC), Alston attended the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. Alston made his professional debut in the NFL in 1970 with the Washington Redskins. He played for the Baltimore Colts, Houston Oilers and Washington Redskins over the course of his 11 year career.

Most people believe that 1973 was Mack Alston's best year, as he caught 4 TD passes.
