Mac Byrd (MacArthur Byrd) was born on April 28, 1942 in Woodville, Mississippi. After going to high school at Xavier Prep (New Orleans, LA), Byrd attended the University of Southern California. Byrd made his professional debut in the NFL in 1965 with the Los Angeles Rams. He played for the Los Angeles Rams for his entire 1 year career.
